Join this historical and train-romantic journey through Sweden's picturesque inland and all its experiences.

The journey begins at Stockholm Central and takes you on a fantastic experience through Sweden, from Stockholm to Mora, Östersund, Arvidsjaur, Jokkmokk, Gällivare, Abisko, Kiruna and onwards to Umeå before returning to Stockholm.
In collaboration with the Swedish Railway Museum in Gävle, we offer you the Wilderness Train. Travel in first-class museum carriages from the 1940, 50 and 60s, pulled by locomotives from different eras, including steam engines. The comfortable carriages provide a unique experience, where you can sit back in armchairs and enjoy the passing landscapes. The staff welcomes you in period-appropriate uniforms, and in the dining car you will experience high-class service from Maître d’ and the dedicated team.
The journey begins in Stockholm and takes you north through Sweden’s beautiful inland. You pass the charming town of Mora, the heart of Dalarna, and continue on towards Gällivare. Along the way, you discover the hidden gems of the Inland Line: the legendary Vindel River, the vast wetland landscapes of the Laponia World Heritage Site, and impressive untouched nature.
From Abisko and Kiruna, where the mountain peaks are painted in the golden and red tones of autumn, the journey continues through Gällivare towards the coast. Along the way, you are met with crisp air, vast landscapes, and a calm atmosphere where nature shows its most atmospheric side.
Join this unforgettable journey that offers both history, culture, and scenic destinations – an experience beyond the ordinary!

The carriages are of an older design and are therefore not accessibility adapted. This applies to seating, onboard toilets, the bar, and the restaurant car.
There are relatively steep steps between the platform and the train when boarding and disembarking. It is therefore important that you are able to get on and off the train independently, and that you can move around both onboard and during stops along the route.
During certain parts of the journey, short walks are included in connection with activities and accommodation. We therefore recommend that you are able to walk approximately 750 metres without difficulty.
