Day 1: STOCKHOLM - ÖSTERSUND APRIL 29TH
Departure takes place in the late morning from Stockholm Central Station. We travel north in the Swedish Railway Museum’s first-class carriages from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, enjoying lunch served on board along the way.
Upon arrival in Östersund, the county capital of Jämtland, the day concludes a communal dinner. Overnight stay at Clarion Hotel Grand.

Day 2: ÖSTERSUND
Full Day in Östersund
Today we enjoy a memorable day in Östersund. Guests may choose between a guided tour of the locomotive depot with our CEO, where historic and modern trains bring the fascinating story of the railway to life, or a visit to Storsjöhyttan to experience the art of glassblowing. A walking tour through Östersund’s charming streets is also available throughout the day for those who wish to explore at their own pace.Lunch is enjoyed together, featuring local flavours from Jämtland, and dinner continues the theme with further regional specialities. In the evening, we welcome the arrival of spring by the shores of Lake Storsjön, gathering around a traditional Valborg bonfire for a warm and atmospheric end to the day.

Day 3: ÖSTERSUND-ARVIDSJAUR
On the third morning of our journey, a steam locomotive awaits us at Östersund Central Station, ready to take us on a historic journey towards Ulriksfors. Travelling along the Inland Line, we pass through the vast landscapes of Jämtland and Västerbotten, where deep forests, mirror-like lakes and open wetlands shimmer in the morning light.
After a change of locomotive, the train continues north towards Arvidsjaur, with an engaging stop in Sorsele. Here we visit the Inland Line Museum and gain insight into the railway’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Lunch and dinner are served on board in the train’s restaurant car as the scenery drifts past the windows. We arrive in Arvidsjaur in the evening and stay overnight at Hotel Laponia.

Day 4: ARVIDSJAUR -JOKKMOKK
eparture in the morning from Arvidsjaur station. The journey continues north along the Inlandsbanan with selected stops along the way, such as the Rallarmuseum in Moskosel and the Arctic Circle, where history and nature come together in a fascinating way.
Lunch is served on board in the train’s dining car as the magnificent landscapes of Lapland pass by outside the windows. Upon arrival in Jokkmokk, a tasting experience awaits, followed by dinner at Restaurant Dálvvadis at Hotel Jokkmokk. Accommodation at Hotel Jokkmokk.
Day 5: JOKKMOKK-KIRUNA
The day begins with a visit to the Ájtte Mountain and Sámi Museum. After lunch, the journey continues north along the Inlandsbanan, which in Gällivare connects to the Malmbanan towards Kiruna. During the journey, dinner is served on board while you enjoy the vast landscapes of Lapland. Accommodation at Scandic Kiruna Hotel.

Day 6: KIRUNA
Full Day in Kiruna
After breakfast, we travel to Jukkasjärvi, where ice and tradition meet. Here we visit the world-famous Icehotel and Nutti Sámi Siida, gaining insight into Sámi culture and traditional handicrafts. Lunch is served in an authentic setting, surrounded by stories and living traditions.In the afternoon, time is at leisure in Kiruna. Stroll through the town’s welcoming streets, visit the iconic Kiruna Church, browse local shops, or simply relax in the comfort of the hotel before dinner in the evening. Overnight stay at Scandic Kiruna Hotel.

Day 7: KIRUNA-ÖRNSKÖLDSVIK
After breakfast and check-out, we enjoy a guided tour of Kiruna, exploring the town’s fascinating history and unique urban transformation. We then begin our journey southwards towards Örnsköldsvik. Lunch and dinner are served on board during the day, with a short stop in Boden to stretch our legs and breathe in the fresh northern air before continuing the journey. Overnight stay at Elite Plaza Hotel, Örnsköldsvik.

Day 8: ÖRNSKÖLDSVIK - STOCKHOLM MAY 6TH TH
In the morning, we leave Örnsköldsvik behind and begin our journey towards Stockholm Central Station. We travel through the tranquil forests and sparkling lakes of the inland, before the landscape opens out towards the coast and the vast horizon of the sea. Lunch and dinner are served on board in the train’s restaurant car, and in the evening we arrive at Stockholm Central Station.
