The journey with the Wilderness Train takes us from Stockholm to Mora, then along the Inland Railway to Gällivare, followed by Haparanda, Umeå, and finally Stockholm C. We travel in the Railway Museum’s 40s, 50s, and 60s first-class carriages.
We will stay for 7 nights in double rooms at mid-range hotels, with full board, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Activities include visits to the Zorn Museum, Arvidsjaur Church, Lappstaden, Rallarmuseum, Ájtte Swedish Mountain and Sami Museum, a guided tour of Haparanda and Torneå, in Umeå you have a choice between the Bildmuseum or Arboretum.
A tour guide will accompany the entire journey, providing guidance both on and off the train. Transfers between hotels and train stations are included.
